EEP Africa’s 2025 portfolio listing marks an important step in Planet Green Africa’s next stage of growth. The support focuses on scaling briquette production in Malawi, helping PGA turn more recycled agricultural waste into cleaner cooking fuel for everyday kitchens.
For PGA, this recognition is about momentum. Greater production capacity means more Nyasa Moto briquettes reaching households and institutions, more work for female distribution agents and a stronger alternative to charcoal and firewood.
The portfolio also reflects the confidence partners are placing in Malawi-led clean energy solutions. PGA’s model is practical climate action: local materials, local jobs and cleaner cooking access built around the realities of the communities it serves.
